Training Rollout

Ark set up training accounts for staff using their school email addresses.

In week 1, registration emails were sent to all staff via The Ark Academy™.

Most staff opt to do the training at home in the evening or during a free period during the school day.

Step 1: Staff Registration

Staff were registered on The Ark Academy™  and registration emails were automatically sent to each member of staff.  Emails contained their username, password and link to their enrolled course. Staff had access to their course immediately.

Step 2: Staff Complete Training Online

Staff were allotted 1 Croke Park Hour to complete the training. Staff completed the assigned course online through video modules, engaging course content, infographics and retention tools. Most staff opted to do the training at home in the evening or during a free period during the school day.

Step 3: Certificates Issued

On completion of a course, staff were issued with a certificate of completion by email. In addition, the Principal also received a copy by email for the personnel file. This was 100% automated through The Ark Academy™ - meaning no spreadsheets or administration.

Step 4: Training Tracker

Over a number of weeks, the "Training Tracker" kept track of each participant’s progression. In addition, The Ark Academy™ generated "reminder emails" for staff to log back in and complete courses. This resulted in close to zero administration for the Principal.

In just a couple of weeks, staff have completed the training and certificates were issued. From start to finish, management and staff were fully supported by the Ark team.

Education Sector Specific Training

There is a lack of education sector specific safety training. Ark specifically designed these courses for school staff, both in terms of context and content. This resulted in higher course engagement and a successful staff training rollout.

User Friendly & Intuitive

Staff have mixed technical abilities which could have lead to lower course engagement. Feedback from staff suggested that the learning experience was simple, intuitive and user friendly. Where staff had issues, they were able to get support from Ark.

Ultimate Flexibility for Staff

Staff benefitted  from being able to complete courses when and where convenient for them on their mobile phone, tablet or laptop. In person training often means staff who are absent cannot benefit from that training - until now.

Certificates of Completion

Certificates of completion act as proof of learning and demonstrate legal compliance if needed. Certificates of completion were emailed to the Principal once completed by staff for their personnel file.

Zero Administration & Management

Often there is significant administration associated with online training i.e. keeping track of who has completed courses, or who has not. The Training Tracker managed this from start to finish resulting in close to zero administration for the Principal.

Fully Supported Training

From setup to completion, Ark supported the Principal and Staff online through the support function on The Ark Academy™ i.e. enrol new staff, password resets etc.
